Love this hotel!! Everything was posh & lush, especially the bathroom ^^ Room was very spacious. Staff were friendly. Aesop amenities provided. There was a games room that opened to 130am which was very entertaining.

Everything was just perfect. The room was so well appointed, the bed was so comfy, the fireplace was so warm and welcoming, and the heated bathroom floor was a total bonus. We really loved our stay, it was very luxurious and the location was just perfect.

Refurbished in 2019 and located just 4 minutes’ drive from Blue Lake, Southgate Motel features a bar, a restaurant and a sauna. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a spa pool open in warmer months.

The location, the stay, the staff, the experience was serene. Smooth check in and smoother check out, with very good beds for a comfy sleep along with a cabin that was very clean with a hygienically clean washroom. They even provided us with a blanket, towels, electric mattress, toaster, glasses, cups and all the cutleries to make our stay comfortable. Definitely a place to stay when in mount gambier. Highly recommended.

The house had a very warm & welcoming vibe. Plenty of natural light and lovely garden views. The bathrooms were modern & clean, the kitchen had all the utensils required for cooking, though our stay was short so we didn’t cook much. The sheep & alpacas next door were a great hit with our kids who loved feeding them. And the outdoor bath was a special addition. The hosts left plenty of brochures for local attractions, a few special items including a bottle of wine, marshmallows & a complimentary Gin. Netflix was available too. Everything about the property was lovely.
