Apart from the wonderfully huge sign saying my name for all to see, it was magnificent to have a hotel just for me ...... In all seriousness, I hadn't stayed here before, or in fact in the area at all. So, it was a very pleasant surprise to find this little gem of a hotel. Easy access to the hotel, right off a main road, but not at all busy and noisy. The staff were so helpful and full of smiles and helped out when my French was somewhat lacking in areas. The rooms were very comfortable and well 'stocked' - as in good sized towels (but always could be a little bigger). I liked that there was a vending machine in the hotel, good range of drinks and snacks. Check in and out times were good, and check in and out process was quick and efficient. We did not use the hotel restaurant as we were busy for one of the nights, and the second night was a Sunday, so they weren't open - but the menu looked great and the actual restaurant was great inside (you walked through it to the breakfast room). The breakfast buffet was good, a decent range of food and drink, good size cups and glasses (not the tiny ones where it is like chugging down a shot of orange juice). We didn't use the swimming pool, but it was outside of the window of the breakfast room. It looked a good size and was clean with clear water.

great location, quiet family friendly , a really lovely place to just be, close enough to eateries etc. Pool was ace as were the grounds and close to a lovely walk into town. The garden had shade and sun depending on your mood with lots of places to sit. Fantastic views, all rooms were clean and very well presented with everything that you could possibly need. Home from home but better..
