The design of the hotel and the rooms were very contemporary and sleek. The hotel occupies the top floors of the highrise so the views from the room was great. I was conveniently located at the train station. For a city hotel with an onsen was a treat.

Host was very friendly and thoughtful. She gave us a warm greeting at the start and also supplied us with plentiful snacks, drinks and food souvenirs. Loved the onsen and how spacious everything was.

The breakfast buffet was the best we have had during our trip in Japan. Many options, from Asian to Western. The room and bathroom were also quite big and modern. The location was also good, a 20-minute walk to Kumamoto castle and there is a nearby bus station where a direct bus departures to the Aso Volcano. Also only a few minutes walking distance from the shopping street with many bars and restaurants.

Excellent location, located in the city centre with the shopping street down stairs, loads of restaurants and shops. Bus stop to the Airport is just opposite. Room is clean, spacious, facilities are very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
