The room was by far the biggest and most comfortable we’ve had in Japan — super spacious, spotlessly clean, and very cozy. The breakfast was exceptional, with so much care and quality in every detail, a real highlight of our mornings. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the host/owners. They were incredibly welcoming, warm, and without a doubt the most kind and adorable people we’ve met in Japan so far. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. We could not ask for a better place to stay while we were visiting Mount Fuji. The shed itself is a masterpiece and it is in a beautiful and quite area. Of course the '64 Shelby with no. 75 in the living room / garage is an absolute plus to the whole experience, but the favourite part of our stay was how our friendly host, Yoshi welcomed us and shared the whole story behind this amazing place. We hope to get back soon to visit again!

The owner was so nice! The food was excellent! We had the best time. We arrived completely drenched from rain and the owner offered to dry our things and was taking care of our shoes and everything the whole time and he speaks great English. The surroundings is so peaceful.

What I really liked about this place was the homely feel to it. The room was big enough for us and we enjoyed the comfy beds. The kitchen had everything as well and had all the amenities needed. There were dehumidifiers, warmers and an AC in the kitchen and room, so we were very warm. The place was clean and we were able to enjoy the Onsen at the hotel nearby, The Royal Hotel Kawaguchiko (tattoo friendly as well) 1000 yen per person for 2 hours).

Everything! The hotel is in such serene setting that all your troubles simply go away. The host was super caring and welcoming. It is on Yamanako sightseeing bus route which departs from platform 6 at Kawaguchiko station. You get off either one stop before Yamanakako Asahigaoka or at Yamanakako Asahigaoka as it is likely you’ll find a taxi there. It is a bit far from Kawaguchiko station, however, it is worth a visit for the peace and quiet you get.
