I spent my honeymoon at Mateus and it was perfect. Very clean, calm, and cozy. The manager Zein also sent us breakfast on our last day as a gift from the hotel. Loved it!

Very internacional place with a great energy & vibe. You feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The owner Hicham só friendly, caring for all of his guest as it was family. Ana his Brazilian girlfriend very friendly too, so is the staff. They help with tours around the country, including guided trips to Damaskus. I arrived on the day the problems started in Israel and everything seems normal here in the beautiful city of Beyrut.

He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, recommended restaurants, organised taxis for us and even coffees and beverages.
