We spent one night here on our way to Costa Rica. We didn’t like the vibe at all. Bit of a hostile welcome, dirty pillows and too many stray dogs following us. Dog mess everywhere. Had a balcony which was a bonus.

We felt totally safe and enjoyed that it was a 4-5 minute walk to Playa Marsella. Playa Maderas was an 8 - 10 minute motorcycle ride and there were 3 or 4 more restaurants to choose from as well as options for surf board rentals and lessons.

Very quiet location. Comfortable, clean room. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and busses to all ends of the country. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Great little comedor on site for a good value, tasty breakfast.
