We stayed at Hotel L'Ecrin for one night while hiking the GR R2 trail on Réunion Island. I highly recommend it to all hikers, as it's located very close to the trail. The hotel is pleasant, clean, with comfortable beds and a beautiful garden. The receptionist was friendly and spoke English, which was a great help. There’s also a restaurant right next door where we had an excellent dinner.

All the staff were extremely friendly, Anne-Claude was amazing and was quick to answer all my questions when I was making the booking. The hotel is newly renovated and situated in the gorgeous town of Entre-Deux nestled below the mountains so we had a beautiful panoramic view from our balcony. It was the perfect place to relax or have a swim (28 degrees) after a day hiking or sightseeing.

L’échappée belle is located in Entre-Deux and features a heated pool and pool views. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay.

2.7 km from Saga du Rhum, Paradise City Break is a recently renovated property situated in Saint-Pierre and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking.

Everything was good. If You come by public bus, take No. 83 at gare de St. Andre, exit at the station Mare Paule d'eau and walk 50 m. back. Car rental is not necessary, public transport is available and it is well arranged.

La Rose du Sud is located 5 km from the centre of Saint-Joseph and a 15-minute drive from both Cap Mechant and the Grand Galet Waterfalls.

The owners Laurie and Laurie are very kind. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable. There is a small pool and a jacuzzi for relaxation. The area is quiet. It is possible to buy drinks and dinner prepared by Laurie. This is good to have when you come back tired after a day discovery.
