Accessible Hotels in Jiufen

We were travelled all the way from Sun Moon Lake to Ruifang for an opportunity to stay in this wonderful villa, it is by far the best accomodation throughout our time in Taiwan and possibly one of the best in the world. The entire experience is just of surreal quality and very nature oriented. We have stayed in numerous hotels around but definitely nothing of this caliber. Firstly, it is the personal touch from the owner which makes it very special, he is a very hands-on and honest dude providing AUTHENTIC recommendations throughout our stay... and we definitely shared some of our artistic interests with one another as well. Try getting that personal touch in The Ritz, Claridges or even Shintamani... (all you will experience is just a formalistic approach) Secondly, the Villa is located in an almost abandoned hill which used to be a gold-mine hill with very little occupants around that hill and that is absolutely phenomenal... It is like an accomodation in a movie, very idyllic, peaceful and in an almost youtopian state Thirdly, and this comes as a surprise, we didnt know that up the hill it is Jiufen (one of the most popular spots in Taiwan), which is only a 5 minute drive up. Jiufen and Shifen is a must go destination in Taiwan, in fact I am looking to stay in a similar accomodation in Jiufen hopefully in my next visit. There are many other extraordinary experiences in this villa that is just priceless, from dining with complete privacy (just the 2 of us) and a stunning view, to sleeping with the sounds of the nature in an almost abandoned location. It is an accomodation just like a dream, once in a lifetime.

Excellent boutique hotel with fantastic staff. The girl at the reception was brilliant and very helpful. The hotel is itself is nice and they throw in coffee, snacks, toast/bread etc. you can actually walk to the night market, pick your food and bring it to the hotel to enjoy with a beer from 7/11. I liked the room. although small, it was comfortable. But I give 6* ratings to their staff. The reception and housekeeping were very kind. We were given a list of some fantastic breakfast places as well as some vegetarian restaurants. Thank you Drizzle, we will be back. Because of the kindness of your staff.

Being an experienced backpacker, I must say, this is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed inn :) Perfectly clean, very quiet (although located at a very busy junction), very comfortable beds (and big - I am 1,92m tall, but still the matress was longer), efficient AC, fast WiFi. Plus extremely caring personnel and the owner herself, who really make you feel like home (helped me to go through a Chinese website to apply for a hiking permission - succesfully :D). More than highly recommended :D

Fresh & modern in the centre of the city . Only 5 minutes from Night Markets.

It's a fantastic hotel with everything once needs. Nothing to criticise.

Room is of good size and has nice sea views. Breakfast spread is huge.

all-you-can-eat buffet is wonderful and diverse

Some fresh fruit would have been nice. Coffee was good.
