At first, the lady guiding us to our room took us through the janitor's closet. Which we found very strange. And she didn't show us any other way. So we just kept using the maintenance hallway and elevator. People kept telling us we weren't supposed to be there. Until finally one employee showed us the correct way. Anyway we all had a good laugh about it in the end. But I wonder why that initial employee took us via the wrong way. Other than that the stay was perfect

The staffs were very considerate and accommodating. They would always consider the convenience of their customers plus they could speak English. We did not expect the room would be spacious and cozy for a very affordable hotel rate in the city.

Breakfast is not so good and it’s far from the motel where we stay not convinient. The room is vary spacious that’s what I like the bed is so comfy you really have a private area where you can rest well. The location is not recomendable due to far from the station but it was accesible to have own car but good thing is the front desk help us to easily get taxi.

What I liked most about the Valora Hotel Resonance Taipei, Tapestry Collection by Hilton was its modern, elegant design and attention to detail. If I could give this hotel an 11 that is what I would do! The check-in experience was amazing. Maruko was quite simply the most impressive hotel clerk I have ever met. She provided us with very helpful advice for our trip, and did everything in such a cheerful and effective way that one could not help but to be impressed. She even left us with a lovely, hand-written card at the end (complete with very cute pictures which she drew). I may frame this card :) After staying previously at a hotel in Taipei which did not meet our expectations, it was such a joy to stay at the CityInn. Everything was done just in the right way. It was clean, restful and smart. They kept our luggage for us as we travelled around which made a huge difference. Obvously I would stay here again - indeed I don't think there is anywhere else I would even think about staying in Taipei.

The hotel is a delight for the eyes from the sidewalk already, even before entering. Golden colors, glass, carpet, lightning and perfume! Beautiful entrance hall as well. The doorman is ready to help, the kind of employee who can anticipate. Very polite and friendly people at the reception desk too. Classy elevator. And finally the room: above expectation. Larger than I expected (No, this was not an upgrade). Clever equipments. Excellent beds. No sound from outside nor from the hotel itself. Bathroom classy too. Excellent bathtub and shower. It was a pleasure to come home after much walking in the city. We took the underground from station Songjiang-Nanjing, 4 to 5 min walk to the north. We could then reach a large number of sites in just a few stops. Perfect solution.
