The hosts were exceptional!!! They allowed us to check out late the afternoon as there was no one checking into our rooms for the day. Everything was 10 out of 10!!!

One of the best hosts I had worldwide. He is professional but also super laid back, he is kind and authentic, very often around chitchatting with everyone. Pousada Tony Montana has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Praia de Araçatiba. Among the various facilities are a bar, water sports facilities, as well as barbecue facilities. We got upgraded to a room with sea view, and it was just perfect. The room was big (which is quite rare for Ilha Grande), it had a fridge and air condition, it was cleaned everyday and the view was stunning. To be able to lay in the hammock and turn around to see the ocean, was amazing. Tony and the rest of the staff are extremely nice and helpful! They don’t speak English, but they make it work with smiles, gesticulations and a little bit Google translate. The place is located at the beach and has a great restaurant. I recommend the açaí bowl ;) There are also other great restaurants and beaches nearby, and boat trips arranged everyday. Thank you for a perfect stay!
