The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking Lake Arenal, it is quite breathtaking when you arrive. The pool and Jacuzzi are lovely places to take in the scenery also. Chris, Cesar and Christopher really did look after us, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is made up of several 2 bedroom villas which overlook the lake. We ate in the restaurant on the two of our nights, the meals were really tasty. This hotel comes highly recommended.

The location of Agua Inn is magical: fully immersed in nature, an hour away from the touristy La Fortuna. The garden is a colourful piece of art, and the river makes it even more peaceful. The staff is amazing, Trent has been very accommodating with our late check in. Breakfast was really good, we had something different everyday and the portions were pretty generous too ( typical Costa Rican breakfast with eggs/ beans/ carbs + fruit). The room was big and cozy and got cleaned with care everyday. The pets of the house are the cherry on top: 2 dogs and a parrot named Pepa. Agua Inn definitely stole our hearts, we hope to be back very soon!

Staff and chef were so accommodating, felt like we have new friends.

Featuring an extensive garden, furnished terraces with natural pools and rainforest-mountains views, the eco-friendly Rancho Margot is 700 metres from Caño Negro River and 3 km from Arenal Lake. Very interesting farm tour. Delicious food made mainly from products from the farm. It's sustainable but still provides a good level of comfort for the guests. The pools are very clean. Overall, it's an absolutely amazing experience that is well worth the cost for anyone interested in sustainability, farming or self-sufficiency.

Set in Naranjos Agrios, 35 km from Venado Caves, Mystica offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The team of staff at Mystica were warm and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed the sauna twice during our stay which is complimented by the natural dipping pool. We hope to return. The whole place was good vibes. We especially enjoyed the birdwatching and walking the meditation labyrinthe.

Offering a garden and garden view, Monte Terras is situated in Tronadora, 45 km from Treetopia Park and 47 km from Venado Caves. The property was beautiful and our host was so nice pointing out a sloth in the tree in the morning as well as a toucan. There were two swings our kids loved and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We highly recommend this property especially to families.
