Located along its own private beach, Gemma Resort offers views over the Red Sea. It features indoor and outdoor pools, and wellness centre. Several restaurants and bars are also available. Our stay at Gemma Resort was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs, welcomed with cold drinks and warm hospitality. The check-in process was seamless, with the receptionist providing all necessary information in a calm and professional manner. We opted for a family room with an all-inclusive package, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with a fridge stocked daily with water and beverages. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring comfort throughout our stay. One of the biggest highlights was the food quality. Each day offered a variety of fresh and flavorful options, with excellent dishes served at the main restaurants as well as by the pool and beach. From authentic pizza and sandwiches to sweet treats and snacks, everything was top-notch. The drinks were equally impressive—no watered-down cocktails here! Generous pours of quality alcohol, great coffee, and fantastic wine reflected the resort’s dedication to excellence. The resort itself feels like a picturesque village, full of serene corners to relax and lively areas for entertainment. Multiple pools, beautiful hidden spots, and a well-thought-out layout make it an ideal destination for those looking to unwind. If there’s one thing that truly sets Gemma Resort apart, it’s the staff. They treat guests as people, not as walking ATMs—something truly priceless. There’s no sense of obligation to tip, yet their service is so genuine that we felt happy to do so at the end of our stay. Their warmth and professionalism made our experience even more special. During our visit in mid-February, the resort was peaceful, not overcrowded, and the weather was pleasant, albeit a bit windy at times. We noticed that many guests were returning visitors, mostly from Italy (about 90%). Gemma Resort exceeded all expectations, offering top-tier hospitality, fantastic food, and a relaxing environment.

This hotel offers a beach front, a large lagoon pool and 5-star luxury accommodation in the heart of Port Ghalib, Egypt. Marsa Alam International Airport is less than 5 minutes’ drive away. We were lucky to receive an upgrade to a room with wonderful sea & lagoon view. Rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage, large TV and a super balcony. Ours had a view over the amazing private beach that surrounds the Palace hotel, over the entrance to the lagoon and all the ship entering and the desert on the other side. Unforgettable panorama at dawn (05.30h in April) and technicolor sunsets :-). Totally quiet at night. Super attentive room service; waterbottles and fruit. - The garden with the numerous large palm trees, its large lawns and its sea of flowers is meticulously kept. Fresh towels are provided daily for the pool and the beach. The very long pontoon offers fantastic views for everybody. Snorkeling is possible from there or on a large portion of the beach. Colourful fish everywhere. Highly recommended scuba diving center is right near the Palace Pickalbatros with lessons and excursions. - We loved the food, especially the egyptian and the indian dishes. We started our days with omelettes, pancakes freshly made for breakfast, incredible goyavas fresh and pressed. -The entrance to the Palace Pickalbatros hotel is truly majestic, as is the large lobby and the bar with its terrace overlooking the artificial lagoon of the neighboring hotel . - All staff in the amazing Palace Pickalbatros hotel are very well trained and respectful. They work really hard to make guests feel at home and pampered. A big thanks and congratulations to the manager, Mr Mina for the amazing job.

Sunrise Anjum Resort features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Marsa Alam City. This 5-star resort offers room service, an ATM and free WiFi. I had an exceptionally positive experience at this hotel. The environment, friendly atmosphere, and great vibes made it very hard to return to everyday life afterward.

Facing the beachfront, JAZ Elite Amara offers 5-star accommodation in Marsa Alam City and has a garden, private beach area and terrace. Fabulous hotel, recently built. We did enjoy our one-week holiday to the fullest. Everything was perfect: - friendly and helpful staff (reception, room service, restaurants, bars, beach, entertainment) - spacious and clean rooms (as a family we even got two connecting rooms and our children got twin beds, which they did appreciate) - very clean common areas (staff is constantly cleaning the floor near the swimming pools and maintaining the green areas) - 5 huge swimming pools (+ 2 for young children) - does not feel crowded at all! - live qualitative shows every evening (great artists) - friendly and discreet entertainment team - last but not least great food offer in all the restaurants. We liked the fact that the hotel has a reasonable size and that it does not exceed two storeys. Thank you all at Jaz Elite Amara for making our stay memorable and enjoyable ;-)

Facing the beachfront, Pickalbatros Sands Port Ghalib offers 5-star accommodation in Port Ghalib and has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area. The staff was wonderful. Everyone always with a smile. We came for the beach and snorkeling and were not disappointed. I was unsure about the pontile to go snorkeling but it was great. No mad rush for sunbeds and umbrellas. Just had to pick our favorite spot. We had a small problem with our shower, and maintenance cleared up the problem immediately. Everything super clean. The food service was plentiful. Better quality than many other places we've stayed on the Red Sea. However, Italians are picky so I don't feel that I am able to judge fairly. I am looking forward to a return visit
