Located in Madrid, 400 metres from Mercado San Miguel and 400 metres from the centre, Plaza Mayor Suites & Apartments provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a terrace. I had quite a long stay at Plaza Mayor Suites and Apartments (2 weeks) so I feel I can say more than somebody who has just spent a couple of days there. It is very close to a supermarket and the city center, with many eating places and Tapas Bars around. The 3 front desk employees went out of their way to help providing me with an adaptor for my plugs and offered that I use the washer dryer, iron and ironing board when I needed to do my laundry. The room and bathroom were spacious, well lit and ventilated. The AC was excellent. The kitchenette had everything I needed. Maids did my room either every 2 days or 3. Taxis available everywhere around the block.

The hostel is very close to the metro and on 15-20 minutes walking distance to Plaza Mayor/Puerta del Sol/Temple de Debod. The staff is very friendly, they have some snacks for breakfast and usually organize free dinners. I stayed in women’s room with en-suite bathroom; I was worried that it will be dirty, but no, it was clean during my whole stay (3 days), given that the room was full. Totally recommend this hostel!
