The appartement is very nice, well equipped and in an ideal location in Sterling. James is a fantastic host and has given us many useful advices as regards to visits or eating.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Remote location is a stunningly beautiful setting and extremely quiet. Food was 10/10.

Offering a garden and garden view, Dunroamin is situated in Drymen, 17 km from Mugdock Country Park and 18 km from Lake of Menteith. Set up like a lovely guest house, it's newly renovated we had a king room and it was spacious. There is no fridge which could be an issue if there for longer than a night or 2. There was no fresh milk on arrival but the host was happy to give us some which was lovely. It was a comfortable stay but the best part of was the breakfast that was included and offered in their beautiful dining room, felt like home.

Featuring views across Lake Menteith to Ben Lomond, the Lochend Chalets offer self-catering accommodation set on a 38-acre estate. Brilliant, secluded location right on the water. My 5 year old loved the swings, play house and the ducks coming to meet her every morning for breakfast. The 2 minute walk to Nicks restaurant was a bonus for delicious Venison medallions. Will be back again.

In the centre of Callander, which is set in The Trossachs National Park, this Georgian town house provides individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi and home-cooked breakfasts. Everything was wonderful and we loved every minute of our stay with you!!! The location was perfect and so was our beautiful room.

Cromlix is owned by Kim and Andy Murray. Nestled in the scenic Scottish countryside just three miles from Dunblane, this historic mansion is located in 34 acres of secluded woodlands and landscaped... This was my pick from the trip. From the moment we walked through their doors, their hospitality was unmatched. They looked after us like we were part of their family. It was the best meal we ate for our entire trip too! We simply could not fault this place.
