Hotel Indigo Chester is a stylish and contemporary boutique hotel located in the heart of Chester City Centre and a short walk from Chester’s famous Rows, Storyhouse theatre, 2000 year old City Walls... Great hotel in the city center that deserves its 4 stars. You can stop in front of the hotel to unload your suitcases. Large, clean, quiet room and bathroom. Plenty of storage space and space for 2 suitcases. Super extensive breakfast that really deserves to be called a "continental breakfast" - it really had everything. There is an affordable, inexpensive parking, even for larger vehicles, with over 200 places at the train station of Chester. Chester railway station is about 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. You can pay your park ticket at the counter in the station, where you can also get information about trains to Liverpool (direct connection) and Manchester. If you plan to visit Liverpool we recommend taking the train, so you don't spend time and money looking for a parking space. There are several departures per hour, travel time approx. 45 minutes. Of the places on the Welsh coast, we liked Llandudno the best. When we asked at reception, we were recommended an Indian restaurant nearby, almost opposite the hotel, and they even reserved a table for Saturday evening. It was really good. We were also able to borrow an English adapter, as our own didn't work with the laptop. Chester city centre was about 10-15 minutes away from the hotel, but not just the main road, but also the option of walking through a park and along the River Dee.

On a quiet street, Stone Villa is a 5-minute walk from Chester Station. It offers free parking, rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and an extensive breakfast menu. The stay was great. The staff were so attentive nothing was too much effort. Breakfast was good, the porridge was tasty. Close to train station and short 15-20 min walk into city.

Owen House Farm, a property with a garden, is situated in Knutsford, 8 km from Tatton Park, 15 km from Capesthorne Hall, as well as 19 km from Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens. A beautiful, quaint, rural farm on the outskirts of Manchester, very close to the airport. We were immediately greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from the host and were shown to our room which overlooked the lovely cow sheds (perfect for my 7yr old daughter). The host informed us about the local amenities and showed us the dining/breakfast room. Our room was spotlessly clean with fresh cotton bedding and warm heating for the snowy weather. In the morning we had two freshly made bacon sandwiches waiting for us in the kitchen oven and an array of other breakfast options to choose from. This place is so conveniently located for the airport in the most beautiful countryside setting. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion.
