This Hotel is a gem and we have really enjoyed our stay. The Restaurant is a recommendation too because the food is delicious. Only the red wine card could be a bit more sophisticated. Breakfast is served via a buffet but it is possible to order full Scottish breakfast or every type of eggs.

Lovely rural setting and beautiful view from the room I was allocated. Brenda, the host, is absolutely a delight and will go out of her way to make you feel welcome! The Gables Whisky B&B in Dufftown provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a bar. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 26 km from Huntly Castle. The rooms were very clean, the hosts were very knowledgeable about whisky and the Speyside area. The included breakfast was amazing ! Would recommend.

Featuring garden views, Fairdene Cottage features accommodation with a patio, around 18 km from Balmoral Castle. Fairdene Cottage was perfect. So adorable and comfortable. I was able to visit Balmoral and also the Ballater train station with a replica of Queen Victoria's train carriage. I loved everything about the cottage and its location.
