Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... 10 out of 10. The whole experience was fantastic especially since it was our Honeymoon we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I mentioned when booking for a jug of dairy free milk, which we received in the room but also in a fridge which from my understanding not all rooms come with, again this was going above the call of duty. The room was amazing and cleaned to perfection. We ordered room service which again was second to none and when we dined at the on site restaurant again absolutely fantastic. We've already suggested that we will be coming back next year for our first anniversary.

Located in Loweswater, 10 km from Buttermere, Kirkstile Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We had a great stay at the Kirkstile. It is in a beautiful location and has so much character. The room was a bit small, but comfortable and had everything we needed. A generous breakfast was included and the food served for lunch and dinner is excellent. Very friendly. We loved the quiet of the rural location and it was easy to walk down the road and find some wonderful scenery.

Offering garden views, Hill Of Oaks is an accommodation situated in Windermere, 46 km from Derwentwater Lake and 50 km from Askham Hall. Everything was exceptional, from the people who worked at the hill of oaks to the accommodation. The cottage was beautiful so many personal quaint details. It was clean, modern and well thought out. We had digital tv in every room and they also provided a travel cot for our baby. Jacky at the front desk was so helpful and friendly she even provided bird food so we could feed the very tame ducks and made us feel very welcome. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning in the near future. Everything was exceptional thank you

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Elton Guest House features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Location was superb, close proximity to cafes, promenade, walks & hikes with amazing views and scenic train to smaller towns. Our room was spotless and very comfortable.
