The Pear Tree Inn is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bury Saint Edmunds, where guests can make the most of its massage services and bar. Everything exceeded our expectations. These guys clearly sweat the details. To start, we arrived very late in the evening, and they kept the kitchen open to cook us dinner. The pub is an absolute gem. A genuine country pub with locals playing darts, but decorated to a standard that Londoners would love. Food was amazing. Room was amazing. Attention to detail around every corner. Dyson hair dryer in the room. Artisinal locally made chocolates waiting for us. Mini bar full of artisinal locally crafted liquors. Wireless charging mats for our phones next to the bed. Artisinal locally made cheese with the continental breakfast (some of the best cheese I've ever tasted). Friendly staff who were happy to tell us the history of the pub. Absolute hidden gem that would probably cost 400 quid a night in London. Highly recommended!

Offering garden views, The Foxes Den is an accommodation situated in Assington, 18 km from Hedingham Castle and 30 km from Freeport Braintree. Our room was so warm and cosy on a freezing cold night. Lovely bathroom. The breakfast was in the conservatory of the cafe that is attached to the accommodation. It was beautifully cooked and piping hot.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, The Courtyard, Laurel Farm is situated in Lowestoft, 21 km from Caister Castle & Motor Museum and 27 km from Bungay Castle. Warm welcome from the lovely owners who are very attentive to their guests needs. Felt like home immediately. Great location outside of town so no traffic noise at all from the little road and plus the walls are thick so no noise at all neither from the other rooms next to mine. Speedy wifi. Great spacious double room, very clean, comfy bed, great bathroom designed for disabled people (very enjoyable for non disabled too as it's very spacious!), lovely kitchen corner with everything we need to make tea + fresh milk and a bottle of water. No breakfast on offer but there's a fridge/freezer to store our food and a microwave to warm it up. Private roomy car park inside the property. They have a card machine so we can pay by card.
