Well situated in the centre of Athens, Okupa offers air-conditioned rooms, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a shared lounge. I liked the location (walking distance to Acropolis and aroubd 850m from the nearest meteo station, the staff were helpful esp w transport since my flight arrived at 1AM and the metro was closed so they booked a taxi for me, the simple breakfast is well prepared. The entry system in the building and the room is so high tech - no keys but an online code.

Its very new and modern, very comfh bed and it was ideal for staying before leaving for the airport! Nice waking up with an ocean view!

I liked everything! The Modernist is a truly wonderful hotel that exceeded expectations. The location is excellent – close to all major attractions, yet still peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. Rooms are modern, comfortable, and very well equipped. Breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of variety and high-quality options. The highlight is definitely the bar, offering a view of the Acropolis – perfect for both a morning coffee and evening cocktails. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always making sure everything went smoothly. Overall, great value for money and a hotel I would gladly return to.
