Set in Lanquín, 14 km from Semuc Champey, Viñas Hotel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was after driving through the town. Vinas is honestly like an oasis of comfort. The pool was clean and water in it just the right temperature to relax after a hot day. We spent most of the evening there. The room is really spacious, much larger then any of the other places we stayed in Guatemala. Food at the restaurant was quite good. We also got the guided Semuc Champey tour and it was AWESOME. The guide showed us places we wouldn't have found on our own and generally catered to our preferences (we are an adventurous bunch so he showed us tons of places to jump from cliffs and other fun stuff).
