Facing the beachfront, Mövenpick Balaland Resort Lake Balaton offers 5-star accommodation in Szántód and features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, private beach area and shared lounge. Everything was really nice and well set up—from the entrance gate all the way to the room. Everything is kid-friendly. Our daughter loved the lion-shaped room key card! They even provide bathrobes for the little ones. In the restaurant area, there’s also a special section just for kids. The water park and play area were super fun, even for adults. We visited in April, so the warm pool water was a big plus. The spa for adults was great too.

It’s a pleasure to write this review cause we are already not the first time here and guess what? It became even better and all our small comments from last time got improved! So thumbs up for the management to be that attentive to guests needs and open mindedness to change old approach. To summarize it all: 1. Spotless 2. Maintained and taken care off on a very high level. 3. Every single employee is kind, smiling, professional on his/her place and ready to assist. 4. Food became even better and everybody in the restaurant is doing just a remarkable job.

The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. Staying here felt like stepping into a fairy tale, but with Wi-Fi and a excelent breakfast. The place has so much charm — everything is spotless, beautifully preserved, and the staff make you feel truly welcome. I loved the peaceful garden, the elegant dining room, and the little historical touches everywhere. A magical experience! I just wish I stayed longer!

Wonderful stay in Tihany! The host was so kind when we met for the keys and let us into the parking area. We even received a little welcome gift to enjoy. The property was located a short walk down the hill from the main street so not crowded or noisy. The room was very cute and had just what we needed for a night. Would stay again!

The hotel isn't too big, which makes it feel more intimate. Wellness had everything you could ask for. The breakfast and dinner offerings were great, considering you can eat both a la carte and from a buffet for breakfast. Dinner offers a variety of food that meets 5-star excellence. Staff was very friendly.

It is quite spacy. We were 6 adults and it was still quite comfortable. Contact with owners excellent. Tihany is very calm and charming town. Perfect place to rest.
