Large rooms, plenty of space to sit and relax. Very well equipped kitchen to make your meals if you wish. Renovation is done with good taste and honoring the old house. Nice back garden too. Parking was easy, lots of parking slots just outside the house. We went to see the bog and had a nice walk there (The Abbeyleix Bog Project).

Fabulous stay in Fisherstown. We were down for a friend’s birthday nearby. Host was very friendly and accommodating! They had teas, coffees, croissants & porridge left for us. The place was spotless & shower was lovely. Very comfy beds! Better than my own at home. The apartment was easy to find. Uber worked perfectly to prebook a cab ! Super affordable and 14 mins from Kildare village! Extremely happy with our stay. Thank you.

The Killeshin Hotel is one mile from Portlaoise and junction 16 off the M7 motorway. It offers a bistro, an indoor pool, hot tub, a gym and free parking. The room was superb. Really big and airy. Very quiet. Dinner was exceptional! Breakfast was clearly cooked by people who care about quality. In fact, “Quality”, shone through in all aspects. Highly recommend this hotel. Did I mention the underground private car park?
