It is also quiet and the hallways and rooms are spacious. Lovely stay! The restaurant for dinner was also amazing.

The location was perfect, with a beautiful view that made our mornings and evenings extra special. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was super comfy, and the shower had great water pressure—perfect after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast—the waffles and milk were absolutely amazing and such a thoughtful touch! Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely come back again!

We initially booked two nights but ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Featuring mountain views, Heima Holiday Homes provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 42 km from Ljosifoss. The cottage was very comfortable, warm, enough space inside and lots of space outside. Our son enjoyed playing with the dogs. Remote so good for Northern lights viewing (no light pollution). Close to Golden circle sights. I wish we were staying longer. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare some dinner and breakfast (there is nothing close by, 20min to Selfoss).
