The hotel has a great vibe, it is cool, fun and casual. The room had everything you need, was impeccably clean. I thought with all the vibe going on that it was going to be noisy but it was not. The location is good, right on the edge of the old town with access to the walled city. Parking was super close.

Set 43 km from Piazza Mazzini, Masseria Rescio offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden and a bar. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. We spent eight unforgettable days at Masseria Rescio, and it was simply perfect from start to finish. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and very practical. We especially loved the private outdoor area, where we could enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine, listening to the gentle sound of horse bells in the distance – pure magic. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and the staff were always kind, welcoming, and smiling. The common pool area was stunning and incredibly relaxing. We also appreciated the shaded area (once an old sheep stable), which offered a refreshing break from the sun – such a thoughtful detail. Every part of the property was so well cared for and beautifully arranged. We rented a car and drove down from Rome, which worked out very smoothly. The Masseria was also the perfect base for exploring the region: just a short drive to some of the most breathtaking beaches we’ve ever seen, and within easy reach of charming towns like Matera, Locorotondo, Gallipoli, Ostuni, Lecce, and Otranto. We cannot praise Masseria Rescio enough – both the place itself and the wonderful team who made our stay so special. It was the perfect setting to celebrate our 25th anniversary. A heartfelt thank you to Angela, who looked after us on our way there and throughout our entire stay. We are deeply grateful – everything was flawless.

This is a stunningly beautiful property. Modern, yet traditional in decor. Barbara gave us a warm welcome and gave us a wonderful recommendation for a nearby beach, which was equally stunning.

Everything, an outstanding villa and the hospitality from Gianpiero and Sabrina was second to none. A lovely villa hosted by a lovely couple.
