We borrow the canoe for 2 hours, enjoying the time traveling around the lake. Overall it's a great experience, the whole family are very happy with it.

This house was very comfortable and the owners was very helpful. I would strongly recommend for anyone looking for accommodation for a family. Situated in Minamisouma, 18 km from Hyakushaku Kanon, Hotel Maruya Grande features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a restaurant. What an amazing hotel it was! I didn’t expect such a wonderful room and service!!! We arrived with two bicycles soaking wet. The front desk stuff gave me a towel to wipe and let us park our bikes inside secure area. Our room was very clean and spacious. Bed was super comfortable that I slept through. The front desk stuff’s small kindness/care to the guest (me) made my stay memorable. I totally recommend this hotel, and give them two thumbs up.

Set in Fukushima, 41 km from Koriyama Station, YUMORI ONSEN HOSTEL provides accommodation with a hot spring bath and a public bath. The staff were out of this world. The room was incredibly spacious with a balcony overlooking the river. Futon beds were incredibly comfy. The staff speak English as well which is super helpful. The reason why this hostel is getting full stars and why they were just incredible is the staff. I had to go to hospital during the stay and they went out of their way organising a minibus to take us and ensuring that we had dinner on the way back as the local restaurants were closed. The onsen here was just remarkable - very clean. Overall, cannot recommend this hostel enough! Special thanks to Yereem and the team!

10 km from Nihonmatsu Station in Nihommatsu, mt. Inn(マウントイン） offers accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and public bath. This 2-star ryokan offers a 24-hour front desk and a lift. My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights for Drift Matsuri in November. We were blown away by how big our room was. The staff were so friendly, even if they didn't speak a lot of English, but made the effort to help you where they could. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved waking up to the view of the mountains in the distance.
