Wow what an amazing welcome in Sri Lanka. I flew in yesterday evening late at night and the manager came to pick me up from the airport (for free). The room is very good, with A/C, hot water, bottled drinking water. The hospitality of this place is unbelievable. I received a free SIM card (5GB), breakfast in the morning and one of the staff members took me to the bus to Kandy. Actually we needed to chase the bus and I managed to catch it. And so was able to leave a bag here and come to get it when I leave Sri Lanka. I’m a solo female traveller and I felt completely safe. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone .

The staff couldn’t be any more helpful and kind of they tried. The breakfast was amazing and they even offered us tea and biscuits are a day of exploring. The bed was comfortable and good Wi-Fi. If you are looking for somehwtr cheap to stay near the airport this is the place. Roughly 1000 in TUKTUK for airport if you walk a outside and away from main entrance

Airport A4 Transit Hub - Eco Chalets is located in Katunayake, within 11 km of St Anthony's Church and 33 km of R Premadasa Stadium. A very good place for staying a night after or to a flight. A very nice guy is the manager, he makes you feel that you are very welcome. He even gave us a ”welcomebeer” and a cold bottle of water. I really recommend this place. And he even drives you or pick you up from the flight for free.

Location was great, room was quiet with good AC. Bed comfortable with really fancy ergonomic pillows! The bathroom was not directly attached to the room, but it was our own private bathroom to use, with a curtain providing privacy to go from the room to the toilet. Warm water in the shower. Easy walk to the beach through the back way, close to food and restaurants! Nice light breakfast and common space for guests to eat together! Good wifi. This place is off the tourist strip and is tucked away in a residential area, but it's really easy to walk to town in less than 5 minutes Owners are attentive and professional!

Run by a local family, Villa Shade is a charming and peaceful property surrounded by green gardens, just 4 km from Negombo City. Everything went very smoothly here, from the late night airport pick up we arranged via the hotel right up to our departure the next day. This made a big difference after a long day of travel with young children. The family villa was clean and comfortable with good AC and we had a great sleep. Loved waking up to the sound of birds singing in the morning. The breakfast of hoppers, local fruit etc was delicious. The well established and maintained gardens made for a relaxing setting and the kids enjoyed climbing up the treehouse, playing basketball etc. Everyone there was very friendly from the owner to the staff. Highly recommend Villa Shade.
