This was by far the best stay of our entire trip in Namibia. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the view was breathtaking, and the pool overlooking the scenery was just perfect. The interior is beautifully designed, everything is brand new and the room was spacious with a large, very comfortable bed. What made it even more special is that it’s a boutique accommodation with only a limited number of rooms. No big, crowded lodge atmosphere, just peace, style and personal attention. We absolutely loved it and were sad we only stayed here for 1 night. If we ever come back to Namibia, we’ll book this stay again!

Situated within 18 km of Omaruru Railway Station and 19 km of Omaruru Golf course in Omaruru, Otjohotozu Guestfarm features accommodation with seating area. Excellent attention, delicious food, beautiful modern rooms. Christa is a warm and welcoming host. The waterhole in front of our room was great entertainment with all the animals that went there to drink. The game drive was a lot of fun. Peaceful and beautiful.

Located along the Atlantic coast within a 15 minutes’ walk from Palm Beach, Hansa Hotel Swakopmund features two restaurants, a bar and terrace. It has a garden and offers free WiFi in all areas. Wonderful staff, clean and spacious rooms, great breakfast including the service. They also helped us organise - with very short notice - a trip to the dunes. Hansa Hotel has a nice touch of “old-fashioned seaside resort by the Baltic Sea or by the English South Coast”.

Located in the centre of Old Swakopmund, The Secret Garden Guesthouse offers simply decorated rooms overlooking the garden. It features a sun terrace. What a secret garden indeed. Great security and the rooms arranged around an internal courtyard were very well equipped and thought through. Our suite with terrace was a self catering apartment; very comfortable with a little lounge and kitchen. Inga was most helpful and booked us into a local restaurant for dinner. There were many lovely pieces of art reflecting her parents as gallery owners. Highly recommended for a stay in Swakopmund which deserved more than a night to explore. Our vehicle was also secure in a parking lot opposite the hotel. Location was great near to the centre but very quiet at night.

Haus Garnison B&B, a property with a garden, is set in Swakopmund, less than 1 km from The Mole Beach, a 5-minute walk from Atlanta cinema, as well as 1.1 km from Otavi-Bahnhof. I stayed at Haus Garnison solo due to a last minute change of plans and it was great. Gareth was very friendly and accommodating and gave many awesome recommendations. It is walking distance to the main sites and was perfect for a weekend trip to Swakopmund.

A recently renovated property, Bright & Stylish Self Catering Swakopmund CBD is situated in Swakopmund near The Mole Beach, Otavi-Bahnhof and Atlanta cinema. The apartment is bigger than in pictures. It’s fully furnished, there was Tupperware, iron, soaps etc. it’s very clean and the location is perfect. It’s quiet even though it’s right in the city. There’s a parking space.

Located just 200 metres from Dolfyn Beach, Atlantic Dunes Unit 11, Self Catering provides accommodation in Rand Rifles with access to a terrace, barbecue facilities, as well as a lift. Had a fantastic stay with an ocean view in the master bedroom, living area and kitchen.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Wild Eden Self-Catering Accommodation is a recently renovated apartment set in Swakopmund, 200 metres from North Beach. Melissa made us feel so at home, and also helped us with laundry and booking a Sandwich Harbour tour. The treats left for us at check in were a lovely touch as well. Sensational value considering all the work and personal touches Melissa puts into it (she even offered us to use her e-bikes).
