Just 20 metres from Opononi Beach, Opononi Lighthouse Motel offers a hot tub, BBQ and free WiFi. All accommodation features a living area with a TV. Rooms had everything we needed and very comfortable. Beach is accessible across the road with some spectacular views across the bay. Small grocery store, cafe, bar within walking distance. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again when passing through the area.

Overlooking Hokianga Harbour at Omapere, The Sands Hotel Hokianga is a pretty 4-star hotel offering spacious accommodation in a lovely location. We hot a free upgrade to a room close to the beach. The view was stunning.
