Set in Mangawhai in the Northland region, Mangawhai Heads apartment has a patio and garden views. The property features inner courtyard views. The friendly welcome from our hosts Jan and Chris. The accommodation was exactly as described. Very comfortable, nice breakfast selection including lovely fresh sourdough bread. Jan recommended heading to the surf beach to see the last of the sun which was beautiful. She also recommended a restaurant/pub for dinner which was perfect for our last night in NZ. To top it all off, the skies were so clear from the garden, we were able to see the Milky Way and millions of stars. A perfect end to our holiday. Thanks for hosting us. Couldn't have been better.

Boasting a garden, barbecue facilities and views of sea, White Sands is situated in Rangiputa, 700 metres from East Beach. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking.... On-the-beach location with everything needed for my stay. Extended two weeks longer than planned and management were great at making that happen.

Offering garden views, Matakohe House in Matakohe features accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. With lake views, this accommodation provides a balcony. This is the ideal place to stay if you are in the area. Jackie and Daniel are outstanding hosts! Our room was clean and spacious. Our bathroom was large, clean, with a great shower and the best shampoo/conditioner I have ever used. Their B&B is like a hotel. It has at least four rooms with a wide hallway between. Each room has French doors that open up onto a wrap around porch. The breeze that came into our Room was delightful! They have a hot tea and coffee bar available to all 24/7 AND a lounge, just for the guests. It was very private and comfortable. If you get a chance to have dinner and breakfast, don’t pass it up…it’s delicious! Plus, be sure to check out The Kauri Museum, which is just next door…it’s an impressive facility! I’m still dreaming of Jackie’s homemade cheesecake with mixed berry compote!

Jennet was the excellent host. She has provided a lot of useful information and tasty breakfast. The lodge was nice, and view was beautiful.

Avenue Heights Motel offers a range of clean and modern studios, an accessible unit plus 1 & 2 bedroom units all within walking distance... My stay was perfect would recommend if you are in whangarei look for this motel for your stay rooms are very clean the couple who run the facilities are very nice friendly people and if you want a cooked breakfast please ask it is very good.
