Well set in the centre of Christchurch, Drifter Christchurch provides air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Was my first time in a hostel and I liked it very tidy and the other guests were nice. The common areas are well designed. The price.

Breakfast was a decent continental.the coffee in the breakfast room was not as good as the coffee in the conservatory. The room was beautifully designed with all that was needed. The history and beauty of the building have been loving incorporated into the hotel.

Looks like a brand new property, everything is in tip top shape, especially the bathrooms which had so many hooks in each stall (this seems to be pretty rare in holiday parks). Room was clean, comfortable, bed had heated mattress, kitchen fully equipped.
