The location is excellent: just next to the farmers' market, loads of restaurants in the vicinity, and a large supermarket opposite of the hotel (which opens at 7.30 am). This hotel offers the best of both worlds: you have a self-catered apartment (with a kitchen that's fully equipped and a living that's perfect to relax in after a day of hiking and sightseeing) but with all the benefits of a hotel (immaculate service, daily housekeeping, a restaurant and a great rooftop terrace). Parking is just underneath the building with quite a steep ramp, but no issue with a medium-sized (rental) car.

ゴルグーリョ・ガヴィナスビーチから1.8kmのSavoy Palace - The Leading Hotels of the World - Savoy... On arrival, staff took our luggage and gave us a keycard to access the private parking. Our bags were then taken to our rooms after checking in. The view from our room was amazing, however it does not compare to view from the rooftop bar! Breakfast was amazing and the staff were exceptional. Overall 10/10 stay.

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. When I realized I had forgotten my phone charger at my hotel in Lisbon and started to panic, the staff kindly let me use the reception area to charge my phone. I was truly saved — I do really thank the wonderful female staff member enough for her kindness!

Recently awarded as Europe's Leading Design Hotel, the luxurious Vine Hotel is located in Funchal and offers a fusion restaurant with stunning views, a Wine Therapy Spa, and a rooftop infinity pool. Central location, overall vibe and beds were very comfy. We had a courtyard/shopping mall interior room which was very quiet. Pool was cool.
