So this review propably will sound like one of those fake-reviews. In terms that everything was more than perfect. We traveled with our small dog by car and stayed here for 2 nights in summer. Stupid us: should have been at least four. The motto of Philippe and Arlette says it all: we think Switserland should be more welcoming to our guests, that's why we want to do everything we can. Anyway, this is what we liked about staying here: - The welcome: a drink with extensive info about the region. Followed by the best home made cheese fondue by Philippe (Freiburger-style :) ). Yes you have to pay for the dinner, but it's fantastic value for money looking at the nearby restaurants and the stunning view from the balcony. The cheese fondue was one of the best we ever had. - Our dog was much loved by both Philippe and Arlette. He felt home allright. - The breakfast. Holy moly. home cooked, too much fantastic local stuff. And again: the view. - The room. Clean, quiet, relaxed. Everything you want for chilling out. There are probably more things we can say, but this couple truly knows how to spoil you. We were more than happy we could be their guests. Merci Philippe and Arlette!

The location is beautiful and the chalet has a very charming character. The place was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. Since we were traveling with a 3 year old kid, this was very useful. They also have a nice garden table to sit outside. We actually might come back to the same property again in the next couple of years.

The auberge is wonderful, has everything you need, the staff is very nice and try to help in everything you ask. The place is beautiful. The food in the restaurant is the best I had in a long time and the breakfast was simple but realy tasty, all very good ingredientes.

    We had an unforgettable vacation! This historic hotel impressed with its wonderful and cozy interior and the warm welcome and sincere care of the hosts. It is radically different from the usual hotels that you forget after a week. I think we will not forget Du Pillon and his exceptional spirit for the rest of our lives!

    This is one of the best properties we have stayed in. Francis, the owner and manager personally attended to everyone of our needs. Even though it's a hotel, it feels like your home in the mountains with all the amenities of a modern hotel. If staying in this area, would highly recommend for the personalized care, gorgeous mountain views and serene local setting

    Everything worked sufficiently as planned and expected. Though named a "hotel" it was more like guests hosted in a holiday home. The Swiss charm envelopes the property, very comfortable for what it is. Thank you to the property owners, much appreciate your efforts in keeping it up in its current form, considering its long history.

    We had an incredible experience during our stay here, thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Mr. Francis. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making our visit to Glacier 3000 truly memorable. The location is stunning, but Mr. Francis truly made our stay exceptional.     The hosts were extremely welcoming, I've never experienced anything like it. It felt like you were staying in your own chalet with friends and family and they offered freshly cooked meals and breakfast. If you are a couple planning a few quiet days in the Swiss mountains, this is definitely the place to go, no doubt about it!

    When you book value-for-money accommodation, it’s never the facilities that make the difference but the staff. The staff of this hotel is exceptional! Big thank you to their patience and good attitude, it made our stay more pleasant than it would have otherwise been.
