Beautifully decorated and comfortable hotel a few minutes outside Gythio. George was superb on the front desk and a great help with local info. Delicious breakfast wonderfully served in my lovely room. Great little terrace and a lovely pair of daybeds just inside which must be lovely in the summer. Perfect place to await the ferry to Crete

Everything was great! From food, room, details in the room, on the hallway, balcony with a sea view and more. Wellness is also very romantic and relaxing. The people working there (and the owner with his wife) are also very very nice, kind and helpful. I can’t imagine what could be better. The city was of Gytheio is a complete jewel. Just go there and you will come back from the best vacation of your life :) Thank you very much for making something this special, We’re definitely coming back!

Amazing, modern, and a very clean apartment in the centre of town which was close to the restaurants and supermarkets. The hosts were very accommodating, gave recommendations and made sure our stay was comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this family-run hotel in Gytheio. The place was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with the most breathtaking sea views. One morning, I even had the incredible experience of spotting a dolphin from the balcony! The sunrises were simply stunning and truly unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, featuring a variety of local products and traditional dishes that really gave us a taste of the region. The amenities were excellent, including a swimming pool and convenient parking spots, and the hotel’s proximity to the town center made it very easy to explore Gytheio. What made our stay truly special were the owners. They are incredibly kind, warm, and helpful. We spent many evenings chatting with them, and it was such a pleasure to hear their stories. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gytheio. It's a gem in the area, and I can’t wait to return!

    Everything is great for the purpose of our stay, except for the quality of the mattress. This should be updated to get a higher rating in the balcony top room, which shamefully hurts the next morning. Town is small with good food at 5 min walking distance and nice setting. Host was nice 😊 Would I come again? It’s a hard one..tempted to say no just because of the bad sleep 💤 I had although everything else was absolutely fine.

    We had a nice bungalow that has a sea view and covered parking.. The property has also got a south entrance which gives you easy access to the beach (walking distance). Next time we travel to Gythio we wouldn't hesitate to stay at CAVO GROSSO Bungalows again.

    The apartment (renovated recently) was a very present place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable. The property was also well maintained. It was good to see lemons on the tree. We would stay again if there is a chance in the future.
