Our experience at this property was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for, as though we were guests in a home filled with warmth and charm. This place is unlike any other—a true oasis where you can completely immerse yourself in the vacation spirit. Every detail has been so thoughtfully designed and curated, creating an environment that is both stylish and comfortable. The house has a distinct and beautiful design that blends effortlessly with the natural surroundings, giving it a unique character that made our stay unforgettable. The pool is undoubtedly the cherry on top. After a day exploring the area or even just lounging around, it was the perfect place to unwind, cool off, and enjoy some quiet moments. You could easily spend the entire day here, relaxing and taking in the serene atmosphere. The location is also excellent—just a stone's throw away from Galle Fort and within a very short distance of the beach, offering the best of both worlds. Whether you’re looking to explore the historic sights, soak in the vibrant local culture, or simply relax by the sea, everything is conveniently close. Our stay exceeded all expectations. The level of care and attention from the staff was impeccable—they were well-trained, friendly, and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that they take pride in making every guest feel at home, and it truly elevated our experience. On top of all this, the accommodations themselves were outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished, creating a space that was both elegant and inviting. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience that made us feel completely rejuvenated. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve had in all our travels across Asia. I recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Galle, you won’t regret it. And as for us, this has become a must-visit destination, and we’ll definitely be returning whenever we’re back in Galle.

It was our very first night in Sri Lanka. As we arrived late, we just slipped into our beautiful and comfortable bed in the bedroom surrounded by antic furniture. Tomorrow morning we were just amazed by the garden's mango, jackfruit, coconut, beatiful flowers, peacocks in the tree. The host led us through their garden before the large and delicious home-made breakfast.

I already rated this place once and this was definitely the best place I've been in sri lanka, felt like home. Everything's new, clean, organized and peaceful. The bathroom is big, clean and awesome. The room is also big, with an awesome bed and the ac is so good in the hot southern area. They have a kitchen with things you can use to eat and make your good :) Wifi is also amazing there.

Darshi, Oshi and their three kids who live on the property were the most amazing hosts. Darshi is a phenomenal cook. The food was out of this world!! If you asked for a particular dish, it was delivered! Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. We also learnt much about the local culture from Darshi and Oshi.

Beautiful colonial building with nice gardens. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are so attentive and helpful. Was the perfect choice after a busy 10 days travelling around Sri Lanka. They upgraded me to a better room which was very kind.

The pool was amazing! The staff were so helpful and even drove me into town on a tuk tuk for a very reasonable price. Although it was about 5 minutes out of Galle town it was well worth it. It was very peaceful. The breakfast the next morning was very tasty.

We had a really wonderful stay at Silver Rail. The room was very big and very comfortable. The family who runs it was so welcoming, they offered us tea and a delicious breakfast. They even showed us how to make the pancakes we loved so that we can try to make them at home later 😋The location was good, we could walk to the Fort everyday.     We spent two nights with Hiran and his wife and we didn't want to leave! They are the most friendly and caring hosts! Their house is spacious, very clean, comfortable and beautiful and the garden is magnificent. Hiran's wife is excellent cook and we had many interesting coversations with them. They are both very helpful and polite. We would 100% recommend their accomodation and when in Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay there again!

    Everything! Our stay was amazing, we were looked after so well by brilliant staff, and the accommodation is interesting and lovely. Breakfast was fantastic, the Sri Lankan hoppers were our favourite. Hotel organised a great tuk tuk driver too who took us around Galle, we really enjoyed our stay, they even made us a packed breakfast for our early morning train to Columbo - really kind and thoughtful.     We totally loved it! The host family was extremely kind and helped us in every aspect for example they let us borrow their scooter for a very fair price. Breakfast was delicious and they also cooked dinner for us which was truly amazing. Because of their kindness we decided to stay four nights and loved it. The rooms were clean and we even had warm water. In the end we would recommend this place to anybody cause in total it was one of the best accommodations in Sri Lanka.
