In a quiet location in Wals, 5 km of the historic centre of Salzburg, the family-run Hotel Himmelreich features a sauna and a garden with a swimming pool. Very helpful and empathic staff. Great breakfast. Having bikes available for ride was a nice bonus.

This modern, quietly located 4-star hotel is part of the Wals Trade Centre and is just off the A1 motorway and only 800 metres from Salzburg Airport. We had luck got extra large room. View was good and checkout is 12

The views from the balcony are nice, and the natural light of the apartment was something I really enjoyed. Parking is in front of the building, and the drive to the city center is about 20 mins. The host was very helpful and very communicative for the entire time we stayed till we checked in, even when we checked in late at night. The location was great and property was very clean. Kitchen was very well equipped. Bathrooms were also very well stocked with all the supplies. We will definitely recommend this place to a larger group. There were 11 of us including 5 kids and stayed comfortably. If we come back too, we will definitely come back to this place.
