In a quiet location in Wals, 5 km of the historic centre of Salzburg, the family-run Hotel Himmelreich features a sauna and a garden with a swimming pool. Very helpful and empathic staff. Great breakfast. Having bikes available for ride was a nice bonus.

This modern, quietly located 4-star hotel is part of the Wals Trade Centre and is just off the A1 motorway and only 800 metres from Salzburg Airport. A nice hotel to stay in Salzburg very close to shopping center Penny. It is in the outskirt of the city so easy to reach from the highway. With a bicycle you can easily get in the city centre too. There is a nice bicyle path all along the river, don't miss it! :) The breakfast was good too.

The apartment is in a convenient location (4 minutes from airport) with private parking. Apartment is brand new and very spacious. Large double bed in bedroom and sofa bed in living room were comfortable. Kitchen had all facilities. Check in and access instructions were easy. Great hosts.

Check-in was simple. Wifi was good. Appliances were modern. I should note that we had the whole house to ourselves, which made it quite nice. I'm not sure we'd have enjoyed it if another family was staying upstairs. We didn't realize this is a shared house with 4 bedrooms that can be rented out to other guests. We probably would not have booked, if we knew that.
