Artwork and decorative elements throughout as well as extra blankets, picnic rugs made the accommodation feel like home. Melissa left some locally made rocky road as a welcome which was a nice touch. The unit is well insulated, despite sub-zero temperatures outside overnight, we hardly used the heating. There was underfloor heating which I suspect helped.

Mudgee is a lovely country town with many places to enjoy good food and wine. The surrounding areas are beautiful where you can take leisurely drives popping into wineries along the way and exploring nearby quaint and historical towns.

Went to the Three Tails Brewery, plenty of beers on tap, try the (alcoholic) ginger beer. The food here was amazing with huge portions. Also went to Lowe's vineyard, which was fabulous. I recommend the meal with pairing wines, its a bit expensive but the food and wines were fabulous as was the scenery. We only had 2 nights and would have stayed longer.

Mudgee has everything you could want.
Mudgee has everything you could want. Boutique shopping, great accommodation and food options, three breweries (alongside the typical "pub on every corner" charm of a thriving country town), and the wineries are up there with some of the best I've visited. I would recommend everyone take a trip out there at some stage...definitely worth adding to your bucket list!

Loved the variety of shops . Especially Krystie’s Boutique-unique great access and beautifully presented. Loved lunching at the wineries. The people we came in contact with were very friendly. Would definitely visit again

Mudgee is such a beautiful town.
Mudgee is such a beautiful town. I loved the historic houses and buildings and the abundance of wineries, restaurants and cafes so close to the town that offer beautiful local produce. I didn’t like all the magpies that made our bike ride around the wineries a little challenging! I will definitely return to Mudgee but perhaps not in swooping season next time!

We visited Mudgee for a soccer match and were blown away by Glen Willow—it’s a beautifully maintained, spacious venue set against stunning natural scenery. The atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, perfect for both sport and downtime. The locals were incredibly welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the coffee and food were. A truly memorable experience.
