Wonderful little hotel. We loved our room. It was super comfy. Our room had an updated bathroom, a smart TV (with picture quality that made us realise we should probably replace our own at home). Set back off the main road in Gympie which is now significantly quieter with the Bruce Hwy bypass.( It's also across the road from Alford Park which has a lake with birds and 2.great kids playgrounds, one for littler kids.)
Then hotel has a restaurant on site open most nights 6-8. We had room service, getting two of their pizzas which are 11 inches each and absolutely delicious, with very generous fillings.
Slept like logs, even my 9 year old who is an early riser. We stayed one night only on our way through and would happily stay again for more nights.

Loved the quiet semi-rural setting, the lovely views and the horses in the paddock nearby.
My mum has mobility problems so the disability-friendly features were great.
It would be a great place for a short golfing break.

it didnt live up to expectations, the view of garden etc was taken from owners side, not the view from visitors which looked out on a big shed and water tank. The kitchen dining was small, with plastic chairs and all appliances were plug in, not fixed and sink outside.
Lounge area had a concrete floor and again uncomfortable settees small tv and big pool table beds uncomfortable, sagging in the middle . everything seemed as if it was more a teenagers retreat than for older people.
