I think Merimbula is a hidden gem.
I think Merimbula is a hidden gem. Why go to Noosa when you have Merimbula. We are not 'beach' people but loved the views and the walks on the sand. The scenery is to die for. The Drive in from Canberra and out towards Melbourne was filled with beauty. We were able to participate in our 'thing' which is Ballroom Dancing which is held fortnightly at the Saphire Club. All welcome.Guest review byBarbara - 10.0

Without a doubt, perfectly stunning apartment with a view to die for. The main bedroom had the same view to wake up to. The sunroom was a delight with a breakfast nook overlooking the vast expanse of the sea and Pambula beach, the beach just a 10 walk away. The special touches were chocolates & biscuits and a bottle of red to indulge in. The pantry was well stocked with condiments, tea and coffee, a coffee machine and more. We ate mainly in the apartment but there are some great eateries in Pambula and Merimbula which was close by. This was the best place for a quiet break away and very private. Definitely stay again.Guest review byTERESAAustralia - 10.0
Loved the comfy bed. A clean well set out cabin. Very nice.
Loved the comfy bed. A clean well set out cabin. Very nice. Great to have the beach so close. Loved our walk to the Pambula river mouth just up the beach from the park. It was a beautiful spot. Lots of beautiful birds & kangaroos in the park Wifi did not workGuest review byMichelleAustralia - 10.0

The beautiful beaches and surrounds with plenty of convenient facilities for shopping and dining. We especially enjoyeda visitto the RSL! The service was always friendly and helpful, would be great if some of the cafes stayed open a bit longer. The driving around has certainly got busier especially with the caravans looking for parking.Guest review byArwedAustralia - 10.0
Pamula Beach is gorgeous as is the Pamela River.
Pamula Beach is gorgeous as is the Pamela River. The small size of the village means you can walk everywhere and it is nice and quiet. Ben Boyd National Park is just the other side of the river (a 15 min drive around or you can swim across the river on a calm day when the tide is low). The kangaroos everywhere (even directing traffic) were fantasticGuest review byStewartAustralia - 8.0
It's a family building experience.
It's a family building experience. Adults and children can a have a great time there and build up memories for years ahead. There is a lot of room to improve regarding the restaurant though. I was expecting to have a chance to enjoy a nice night with a dinner and a wine but the place closes far too early for adults, something las 1800hrs. And the food comes from the take away next door! Embarrasing... The cabin I was provided was great. Relaxing and saluting the morning kangaroos is a highlight.Guest review byPedroAustralia - 8.0
We live Merimbula and have visited many times.
We live Merimbula and have visited many times. Great beaches. Whale watching is amazing (June to October). Surrounding bush and national parks are perfect for hiking. A couple of great golf courses. Lots of lovely restaurants for some good food and wine. Close to Pambula, Pambula Beach and Tathra which are all lovely places to visit.Guest review byJoPAustralia - 8.0
If you like bicycle riding Pambula is a great place.
If you like bicycle riding Pambula is a great place. There are paths all around and connecting to nearby Merrimbula. Great too, is the Pamboola nature reserve for a stroll or longer walk and good place for a picnic. Jiguma nature reserve ia an other good place for a walk and gives you a good view on the Pambula beachGuest review byedithAustralia
