All! Everything was great, everyone is there to help you. They all helped us when we needed it. Everything is very clean, the wifi is very good, the air conditioning is great, no mosquitoes. Their parking lot and garden are also very pleasant. Thanks again, we'll be back in a few days.

Breakfast was varied, fresh and delicious. Host was particularly efficient and helpful organising taxis and recommending a lovely place for dinner. The rooms were large and very comfortable with aircon and amazing views from the balcony of the river. Lovely gardens and birdlife. Good security with a guard at night. Highly recommend and would be my accommodation of choice in Maun.

We did not stay for long, but for stocking up the twon a good amount of shops and chain stores you may also know from South Africa. Unfortunately, the croc farms seems to have closed down, the local game park was closed for rehabilitation, and the museum was closed for the weekend.

For tourists going into the delta I recommend at least a day...
For tourists going into the delta I recommend at least a day in Maun to check out the local sights and meet some of the locals.
Botswana and Maun in particular see tourists come in and go straight out to the delta, so no added benefit to the residents just a constant flow of people leaving nothing of benefit to the local community
Stop over in a local hotel, there are plenty to suit every ones finances, interact with the local community there is lots to do and see

When you see distance to town center for hotels in Maun,...
When you see distance to town center for hotels in Maun, don't be deceived like I was. Town center is a ratty 4 way stop, nothing you want to be too close to. There are a few places in Maun that may be OK but you have to do your research and they are spread out.
