This is the best budget hotel I stayed. Safety: Use code to access room and capsule. Location: Cross street of check in area, two min walk, so convenient. Rest Area: Plenty of seating, you can buy food from supermarket in airport and eat in the rest area, complementary water provided in rest area. They also offer hot food to buy. Luggage: small carry-on luggage can be stored underneath bed, large one can be brought into room or use their storage room. Shower room: hair dryer provided, water pressure is very high, very good.

Zurich Airport (ZRH) Information

Location and Transport

As the largest international airport in Switzerland and the main hub of Swiss International Air, Zürich Airport sees around 28 million passengers pass through its gates every year. It is located 8 miles (13 kilometres) north of central Zürich, close to the municipalities of Kloten, Rümlang and Obfikon. The easiest way to access the airport is by train, with a frequent Zürich S-Bahn service, as well as direct InterRegio, InterCity and Eurocity links. There are 13 trains an hour to Zürich Hauptbahnhof, Zürich's central train station.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

Travellers with scheduled stopovers or unexpected delays can find accommodation in Zürich Airport or in nearby towns like Kloten and Obfikon. Some hotels provide a shuttle service to/from the main terminal. Before takeoff, you can pass the time by shopping for souvenirs in duty free, relaxing in VIP lounges or watching jumbo jets taxi down the runways from the outdoor observation deck.     This stay was disappointing because of room issues.

    This stay was disappointing because of room issues. When one arrives after a long overseas flight, I expect and need nice accommodations. This time the Radisson disappointed. Room was small, drapery was drooping, trash in bathroom from previous guest and clean but shabby duvet cover. I would not complain but this room was supposed to have been an upgraded purchase by me then the hotel supposedly upgraded my upgrade. Not an upgrade in any way. Very disappointed.

    It is close to the air port and hence with tram you reach...

    It is close to the air port and hence with tram you reach the airport without any taxi service and you enter the check in area and if you arrive after plane landing , the stop is at the airport and reach the hotel at the second stop called Unterriiet Glattburg

    My wife and I would have loved to enjoy Zurich but we only used the airport for arrival and departure. We rented a car to enjoy Switzerland and I can tell you that the roads were nice and well documented. We also found the airport to be efficient and the staff very friendly.

    Clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and helpful! Had a couple of minor issues, but the fantastic breakfast made up for any pitfalls! Would definitely go there again. Good value! It was only a stopover stay for one night, which was all I needed.

    Very convenient to visit Zurich (10 mins to the main station by train and trains and 15 mins to Zurich airport by bus/tram). All public means of transport are on-time, reliable, and very often. Shops, restaurants, bakeries - all within a walking distance.

    Lufingen is a nice small village near Zurich Airport. The surroundings villages can be easily reached on foot, with nice walking paths and views. It's a really good transit place if you're travelling via Zurich Airport, highly recommended if you like a quiet stay outside of city.

    We truly enjoyed our time in Kloten. The area is peaceful, safe, and well-organized, making it an excellent place to stay with family. Everything we needed was close by, and getting around was simple and convenient. The hospitality we experienced made our stay even more enjoyable, and we would gladly come back again.

    Close proximity to Airport, just a station away from airport and Tram stop is across from hotel. On a previous visit I stayed in the hotel adjacent to airport but this is more affordable for budget conscious travellers who catch morning flight without hiring a taxi just by using tram.

    Wallisellen is a very good destination if you want visit...

    Wallisellen is a very good destination if you want visit Zurich and don´t want to pay for an expensive hotel in center. The connections to the city are very good. The train comes every few minutes. Also the restaurants there are cheaper than in Zurich but the same quality.
