I was happy to get the best weather and stay in such beautiful place. The island itself is magical, and the room with sea view, not hot in a sunny day, with sea breeze through open windows.. and a radio in the bathroom :D everything is clean, the fridge and equipped kitchenette will be very useful for a longer stay. I had breakfast outside at the fresh morning sun, what else one can dream of as a perfect vacation?

    Great place to see some unusual wildlife.

    Great place to see some unusual wildlife. Going to Dune is easy with regular ferry and yet pretty cheap. We stayed in camping part of Dune for one night, beaches are teaming with life. Facilities there are uniquely clean. Second part of our trip was spent in the main Island, it is still quite a small place and easy to see in 1-2 days. Again the cliffs are full of life.

    Nice bird cliffs with good access, a fantasticly well organized Island with very nice park benches everywhere, a lot of restaurants/cafes, grocery stores, a nice place for both bird photograpohy and holiday

    Great sceneries of a small-sized island in the middle of the North-Sea. Very good walking trails on the island, leading to the gannet colony at the north-west of the island. The breeding season was not yet over, and many young birds had to be fed to grow so that they can withstand the coming autumn and winter period. I could take many nice pictures of the gannets at quite a close distance, the large sea-birds were pretty used to the tourists and photographers. At another day, we want for a small boat trip to the neighboring but remote island called "Dune", which has a sand-shore, an airport and a small camping site. We were very lucky with the weather, the forecast was really bad with above 15mm of rainfall on a single day. Luckily, that never happened when we were there. Weather forecasts can be wrong too, luckily.
