Hotel is only 5 min walk from the airport. However, the pavement on the sidewalk is not very smooth for the luggage wheels. Had to push. That part was tiring and slowed us down. Luckily it was not raining so we took our time. Everything else was perfect.

Next to Edinburgh Airport, the award-winning Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport offers a chargeable 24-hour shuttle service and rooms with showers. Central Edinburgh is 15 minutes’ drive away. We booked the hotel to rest for one night because of a late-evening flight. The place is conveniently located near the airport, and the shuttle bus to and from the hotel operates 24 hours. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed and kudos for Dove cosmetics products in the bathroom 😁 Despite the proximity to the airport, the room was quiet. Breakfast was great.

We've booked many, many hotels, apartments and B&Bs over the years, and this is the nicest place we've come across to date

Set in a Victorian mansion in 55 acres of grounds, Norton House features a luxury spa, award-winning restaurant and boutique rooms with free internet. Everything in this hotel is exceptional. We booked two days but we wonted to cancel the other hotel which we booked before just to stay at the Norton House, but unfortunately we couldn’t as the other hotel refused to cancel our booking.

Featuring garden views, Craigiehall Temple provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 6.1 km from Edinburgh Zoo. Everything was perfect. The place is beautiful. Close to everything. You need a car but I knew it and I love driving. You can reach many places from there.
