Hotels near Mykonos Airport - JMK, Mýkonos City

Convenient for access to the airport. In a flight path of aeroplanes landing, but rooms well soundproofed. Little options for food on arrival. No reception area. Reasonable communication with host via messaging. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Hosts helpful with finding a well priced transfer from ferry. However, could be preferable to stay somewhere more pleasant with free transfers to and from port and airport.

Location Next visit I would definitely avoid staying in Sunlight Tow N or any accommodation ran by Teo he is a rogue Booking should remove his listings, as he try’s to give people sub standard accommodation not what they book. And what he has on bookings is all fabrication the unit does not provide 15 of the things he lists as part of the accommodation and it does not look anything like the photos which are staged . The people are very friendly and chill. The road is a bit dangerous for new people cause they drive like crazy, they don’t have traffic lights everywhere and zebra cross. But i enjoyed my stays in Mykonos♥️

The part of Mykonos island where we stayed was very quiet at night so you could get a lot of rest and relaxation, which was great. We had like a 3-5 minute walk to a beach, a store, and a couple of restaurants. It’s like 5-7 minutes from Mykonos Town or the Old Port where a lot of the main action is so you have to get transported there. We learned that you have to have a class M license yo rent the scooters 🛴 (mopeds). The cars and ATVs are fine to rent with a standard license but the scooters require a Class M or CM(I believe). It’s Grecian law but very disappointing for us lol! We would have been better off with the scooters as they rent them for 24 hours; the cars and ATVs as well but we had a dream of zipping around on the scooter🤗 we know now and I’m sure by the next time we go— I’ll be able to get one 😉 Don’t stay In Mykonos Town if you want peace and quiet. Do stay in Mykonos Town if you want a bustling night life with plenty of dining option well into the morning.

Tourlos is certainly a less expensive alternative to Mykonos Old Town---as a hotel location---while proving easy and inexpensive access (€2/passenger with the Sea Bus) to the Mykonos Old Town. The island of Mykonos is ,however,---as a preferred party island for especially the younger visitors---not my preferred Greek Island, for exploring historic sites or even enjoying places with a unique volcanic history and topography (like Santorini)....

the beach was just a crazy dystopian vision of what the rest of Greece could end up like! Mykonos is so beautiful, there could be room for people who dont want to listen to really loud music lying on beds taking pictures of themselves but that seems to be how it is marketed shame really as I would go back but probably stay in Mykonos town as the beaches have been over run by beach clubs
