Nia and Ian are the best hosts ever. They make such an effort to show you around and will organize anything you need! Aside from them being really friendly, the room is really comfortable with AC and the bathroom was also nice. Thanks Nia and Ian!

- The owner was really helpful before we arrived in Flores and arranged for a private transfer from Bajawa to Moni and to Ende the next day. They also arranged for a walking tour of Kelimutu NP and surrounding villages. I’d recommend booking the walking tour as we got a local guide (Francisco) who went us to the volcano, talked to us about the history and kept us patient to wait until the clouds cleared to see the lakes. Lots of people had left the summit as they were frustrated with the clouds but the local guide assured us that it would clear (and it did!)
- New property and really modern interior. Unique experience for the area. The bathroom in particularl is really well designed.
- Tasty breakfast and looked after us once we came back from Kelimutu which was late morning which was really appreciated.

The staff are super friendly and helpful.breakfadt is so tasty, love ginger tea, free refill water, location is great, right beside the main road. They arrange the tour to Kelimutu lakes at a reasonable price, also the owner gave me a ride from Moni to Ende for a good price. Thank you

Brian was an wonderful host. Before we arrived Brian helped us getting into the right bus from ende and asked the driver to drop us at his homestay.
Brian and his family went beyond to make our stay incredible, he told us what to see and where to go, sorted us a rental bike and even the bus to go to our next destination.
The room were simple but comfortable with everything you need. Every morning you get fresh fruit and pancakes home made. That’s the place to stay.

The kindest and most welcoming hosts, set in the beautiful location of Moni. Hans, Emelda & family really made us feel like we were at home - from inviting us to their Son’s celebration one evening, tending to our injuries after we took a fall, arranging buses for us, and organising for their Nephew Anton to show us around his village. We fully recommend if you want a homestay that make you feel like part of their family!

This place is excellent! I had a wonderful stay at Andy's Lodge. The family here are so kind and helpful, and the room is huge and very comfortable. There is a wonderful view. It is a lovely getaway! There is a little area outside the door to sit and relax with your breakfast, and if you want to see the Kelimutu crater lakes at sunrise the family can arrange transport for you. The owner also invited me to celebrate Independence Day with him and then showed me a local hot spring. He is great to chat with as well. I couldn't have asked for more! I highly recommend Andy's Lodge.

A very vibrant and busy town, as a white family we attracted a lot of attention, not always good. Uncomfortable walking around the town. We used taxis to move around the town. If I was traveling by myself I would have used public transportation, the bemos look fun!

Ende of the world?
Ende of the world? Not quite but nothing much here for us tourists except for Bung Sukarno’s home. (Indonesia’s first president 1945-67)
There is a garden too but that was closed. The waterfront had some nice looking cafes but most were closed. There is a market and a number of other shops as you would expect in a mid-large town.
