Pieter is an amazing host. He organised a local bus to Ruteng, found us another room when we wanted to extend, and made it possible for us to get in the room after we arrived way to late because our bus got stuck in the mud. The room has everything you need, including towels, soap, and AC. The breakfast is good, including fruits and pancakes.

Great place to stay! Everything is very clean and comfortable, the AC, kitchen and wifi work perfectly, you have free water, tea, soap and shampoo in the room. Plus Imelda is very very nice and helpful. It’s not in the center, but the center is easily accessible by walk (30minutes) or by scooter (10minutes, 15k for Grab). You still have everything you need close by, a supermarket and an ATM next door, as well as little warungs to eat if tired of cooking.
It is a bit tricky to get there the first time as it is not referenced on maps, the easiest way is to aim for « Glen Cell Batu Cermin » with Grab, which is the supermarket next door. All you have to do then is take the small street on the right side of the supermarket and walk 1 minute until you reach Getrudis Guesthouse.

Such nice staff, could leave our bags 3 days at the hostel when we went on a little trip. Very clean room, good working AC, WARM water shower! 5 min walk from the airport. Very nice stay!

The hotel was stunning, staff were super friendly and helpful, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. I would 100% recommend staying at this hotel. It was conveniently close to the airport (with free transfer!) and only a short grab ride away from the main strip. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back!

This is my first time to Labuan Bajo and I enjoyed very much...
This is my first time to Labuan Bajo and I enjoyed very much at Padar Island to see the panoramic view. Beautiful crystal clear water at several islands. Also very interesting visiting the Komodo National Park to see the Komodo dragons.

SO many incredible things to do in and around the area.
SO many incredible things to do in and around the area. The people were so kind and we did our PADI open water course with Dive Tribe Komodo. We did a day trip of the islands around and that was fantastic.

It was a stopover for our tour of the Komodo Islands.
It was a stopover for our tour of the Komodo Islands. Looks like there was great seafood in restaurants which we would have liked to try, but too late to make reservations. If we return we will choose a location closer to town so we can explore what it has to offer.
