Al Camar Lodge provides accommodation with a beachfront, a restaurant, a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. If you are coming to Comoros then this is your best option. I drove across the island and consider this the best hotel. The room was great and the views are amazing. The breakfast was nice. The best thing about it though was the manager. He was extremely kind and courteous to me as I was unwell whilst I was there. He arranged everything for me, and I’m very grateful.

The accommodation was well located, about 30 minutes from the Airport, where It was relatively easy to find a shared taxi for 500 francs( 1 euro ) to the property. The room was clean and Comfortable and it was easy to communicate with the owner via WhatsApp. I didn't get the opportunity to try the beautifully decorated restaurant, but the menu looked excellent! From the property, its a short walk to the beach or to the shops and market, where you can find good food options also. I had cause to ask for hot water to prepare my morning Coffee and found the staff, who spoke a little English, both pleasant and attentive. I was surprised to have good strong WiFi in my room, (contrary to the reviews I'd read);Perhaps the Modem has been upgraded recently. There were no issues with electricity during my stay, apart from some flickering and the Air con which didn't look great, worked very well, keeping the room cool and allowed me to sleep well. I highly recommend Le Dhow and look forward to returning someday soon.

Location: much closer to town than other so called "resorts", and it is safe to walk around outside of the compound. Watching sunset right outside of the front gate every evening is such a joy! 2. Service: Manager Mouhammad is very helpful. From arranging tours, transferring to and from airport, and setting up much needed internet, he can do it all, and most likely cheaper, faster, and less stressful than doing it yourself. Keep in mind the number of locals that speak English in Comoros are very few. 3. Budget: Very affordable, at least 50% less than the "resorts" further away from town center. 4. On-site restaurant
