The location of this homestay is the best part about it. It's a 2 minute walk from the park entrance while still giving you the feel of being outside of the park. They kept power on the whole time so we could still charge things throughout the day and keep the fans on all night. At nights the rooms cooled down and were comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but we were the only people here so it felt private.

The homestay features family rooms. everything was lovely, denny and salina were incredibly knowledgeable hosts with plenty of stories to share. they were super helpful, very hospitable and great cooks!

Water and drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner available for a reasonable price and tasty. Host very friendly and great service. No mosquitos because of the window screens. All day power and fan. Great value for the price. A perfect jungle stay!

Mulu D Cave Homestay Room 2 offers accommodation in Mulu, less than 1 km from Gunung Mulu National Park. Towels and bed linen are available in the homestay. Our hosts Dina and Robert made the stay memorable and personalised. They offered help including trips recommendations, meals preparation and transfer to the airport. It felt like being welcomed into their home and living with family. We even had a karaoke night! The place is kept clean and there is luggage storage. The home cook meals were made from homegrown vegetables too, they were delicious.

Featuring a shared lounge, Mulu D cave homestay is set in Mulu. The property features mountain and quiet street views. The homestay has family rooms. Our first stay prior to going to Mulu Pinnacles, we stayed in the 3 bed, fan room. It can get warm during the day. On our return we needed to rest out aching bodies and stayed in the Aircon 3 bed room. The beds are singles and can be put together for a double bed too. Aircon is new and works great. Each room has a clothes rack. Towels and toilet paper provided. Excellent Breakfast was provided every morning. Often Dina asked what we wanted so it was often different. Although banana crepes are their signature breakfast. Robert is from Mulu and it's great to see they have a business and survived after the tough COVID years. Too many foreigners go to Marriott and sadly there isn't enough support for the local businesses.

Located in Mulu in the Sarawak region with Gunung Mulu National Park nearby, Helena Homestay provides accommodation with free private parking. The homestay features family rooms. This review is based on the situations in a remote place like Mulu. The stay was good. It's about 1-1.5 km from Mulu national park and airport, so it's in walkable location. The host Helena and Shania was supportive. The room had 3 single beds. Initially I thought it would be a dormitory type of stay. But they have multiple rooms. It is a budget homestay. They prepare dinner and lunch is you ask for. Prices are at par with Mulu park restaurant.

Offering river views, Mulu Diana Homestay in Mulu features accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. Diana is a wonderful host. The food was delicious. Rooms are spacious. Fan ceiling. Beds were comfortable. A 25 minute walk to the Mulu National Park or if a 5 minute ride. They are expanding so expect some construction during the day. Also this is not a luxury stay, but a modest homestay.

Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Mulu Marriott Resort as a base to expore Mulu. Staff was super nice, the hotel provides transport to the park office and airport pretty much around the clock. Great to relax by the pool after a hike or get a spa treatment.

Situated in Mulu, Benarat Lodge features accommodation with a year-round outdoor pool, a garden and a shared lounge. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Malaysian and Asian cuisine. Located by the river bank ( with a small jetty) , this property is picturesque. Views of the mountain is spectacular during sunrise. Loving the pool ( opens 24/7) , the cafeteria ( serves delicious food), the breakfast, and most of all excellent hospitality ( manager is very knowledgable about the surroundings, drivers are courteous and professional). Aside from airport transfers, property also provides transfers to the National Park. Coupled with the staff service level ( always above and beyond), this is a charming property with ‘delectable’ local experience.
