The location within the national park is a must if you want to see the sunrise and sunset at the dunes. The facilities and rooms are beautifully designed, this is glamping at its very best! The staff is friendly and super accommodating. The food exceeded my expectations with a wide variety at every meal. Kudos to the enthusiastic chef who proudly and happily announces each meal time with a chant and drum beat. If you’re curious to try game meat such as Oryx, Eland, Zebra, and Ostrich, this place serves them all! I did 2 excursions with Julio who is very personable and knowledgeable, he made my experience at the dunes and Deadvlei exceptional!! Dead Valley Lodge absolutely exceeded my expectations and is great value given that it’s the most economical lodge located in the park. It was hands down my favourite accommodation of my entire trip in Southern Africa:)

Towering over the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this 4-star lodge offers an outdoor pool and a dining terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole. This place is incredible! We are so happy we chose to stay here, it was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is amazing, the rooms are fabulous and the staff and food are excellent!

Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. We stayed for two nights in Desert Quiver Camp. The facilities are top notch and the location is very near to the Sossusvlei park gate. The BF and Dinner options at the Sossusvlei lodge was amazing. The sunset from the Camp is the highlight. Overall a wonderful and memorable stay.

I will recommend and come back definitely. The room with a view to the waterhole is a dream come true. All the room is a dream, the bed is really comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful. The staff is amazing, the chef is an incredible human being and the food was absolutely delicious and well served. The common facilities such as the pool and the dinner and breakfast spaces are charming and beautiful, well maintained and really clean. For horse riding at sunset was unforgettable and we could see oryx very close to us. I will never forget this amazing lodge.
