From the first moment I parked, I felt comfortable and at-home in Neil and Sue's lovely spot. Both are top-class people, the type you want to hang out with. The property itself is perfection. Wild flowers, chirping birds, the smell of honey suckle in the air, all of nature accompanies your stay. I stayed in the Cottage, which offered nice privacy and lovely quarters, but each of their individual bedrooms in the main house are lovely as well. Breakfast, as many have said, was top-notch. From the property, the amenities, and the way they care, I couldn't ask for a better stay. I'll certainly be back.

The hosts were amazing. They were very welcoming and accommodating. The house was unique and beautiful, and the beds were very comfy. We were so grateful to the hosts who organised a firepit out under the stars for us at our request and the breakfast was delicious. Such an intimate and wholesome experience. Thank you. We had an incredible experience at Cameo B&B. The hosts were so lovely and easy to communicate with. There was plenty of food laid out for us when we arrived, and it was a short drive away from Hobbiton.

Supplied quite a few breakfast things, snacks and tea/coffee goodies which was brilliant. Washing facilities (washer, dryer, laundry sink, washing line). Spacious. Comfortable. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

Matamata Central Motel is a 20-minute drive from the Hobbiton Movie Set & Farm Tours, where parts of the Lord of the Rings trilogy were being filmed. spacious room with clean bath and comfortable bed. staff was helpful and check in and out was done in a breezes heat blanket was super nice for us because the nights became colder.
